Affiliation
The Office of the Owner is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of NASA, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the European Space Agency, the China National Space Administration, Roscosmos, the UK Space Agency, or any other space agency or company. The agencies have made this abundantly clear by not responding.
Nothing for sale
The Office does not sell land, deeds, certificates, titles, memberships, or anything else. The Office will never ask you for money. Anyone offering to sell you property on Mars, or on the Moon, is not acting for the Office and does not own what they are selling. Do not buy it.
The record
Mission names, dates, landing sites, and outcomes in the Trespass Registry and the Abandoned Property inventory are drawn from the public records of the operating agencies and are believed to be accurate. If you find an error in the record, file a correction through the report form. The Office corrects its records. The Office encourages others to do the same.
Privacy
If you submit a report or subscribe to notices, your name, email, and message are stored and read by the Office, which is one person. Page visits are logged without cookies. Nothing is sold or shared with anyone, including the space agencies, who have not asked.
